Cookie policy

Last updated: 3 May 2026

This cookie policy describes how we use cookies and similar technologies on this marketing website, what data they involve, and your choices. It is intended to help you understand our practices under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and similar laws. It is not legal advice; have counsel review it for your situation.

Who is responsible?

The organization operating StartupDrafter (referred to as “we” or “us”) is the controller for personal data processed in connection with this site. You can reach us using the contact email shown in the site footer.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small files or entries stored on your device when you visit a website. We may also use similar technologies (such as browser local storage) to remember your cookie choice. They can be “first-party” (set by us) or “third-party” (set by a provider whose service we use, for example Google when analytics is enabled).

What we use on this site

Essential / strictly necessary: We use storage needed to run the site and record whether you accepted or declined optional analytics in the cookie banner. Without this, we cannot reliably honor your choice.

Analytics (only with consent): If you choose “Accept analytics”, we load Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to collect aggregated information about how visitors use the site (for example pages viewed and general location). If you choose “Essential only”, GA4 is not loaded.

Legal bases (GDPR)

For essential cookies and storage required to operate the site and remember your consent choice, we rely on our legitimate interests in providing a secure, working website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR), and where applicable on performing steps at your request.

For Google Analytics, we rely on your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). You may withdraw consent at any time by clearing site data for this origin in your browser settings, or by choosing “Essential only” after clearing the stored preference (see your browser’s help for clearing local storage for this site).

Third parties

When enabled, Google Analytics is provided by Google (Google LLC or Google Ireland Limited, depending on region). Their processing is described in Google’s privacy policy and in resources such as https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

Retention

Your banner choice is stored locally in your browser until you clear it. Data processed in GA4 is retained according to our configuration and Google’s settings for that product (typically limited periods for aggregated reporting).

Your rights

Where GDPR applies, you may have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to processing, data portability, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Because this marketing site collects limited personal data, some requests may have narrow scope. Contact us at the footer email for requests relating to data we control.

You can also control cookies through your browser; blocking all cookies may affect essential functionality.

Updates

We may update this policy when our site or legal requirements change. We adjust the “Last updated” date when we publish changes.
