Cookie policy

Last updated: 14 June 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how YCA YAZILIM DANIŞMANLIK VE TİCARET ANONİM ŞİRKETİ (“we”, “us”) uses cookies and similar technologies on the StartupDrafter website and application, what data they involve, and how you can control them. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.

Who is responsible?

YCA YAZILIM DANIŞMANLIK VE TİCARET ANONİM ŞİRKETİ is the data controller for personal data processed in connection with cookies on StartupDrafter. Contact: yca@startupdrafter.com

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. We also use similar technologies (such as browser local storage) where needed—for example, to remember your cookie preference. Cookies may be first-party (set by us) or third-party (set by a provider whose service we use, such as PostHog when you consent to analytics).

Essential cookies and storage

Strictly necessary cookies and storage are required to operate StartupDrafter. They include session and authentication cookies that keep you signed in, protect your account, and deliver the workspace you request.

We also store your cookie-banner choice locally so we can honor “Essential only” or “Accept analytics” on future visits.

These technologies are not used for advertising. Legal basis (GDPR): performance of a contract and our legitimate interest in providing a secure, working service (Article 6(1)(b) and 6(1)(f)).

Analytics cookies (consent required)

If you choose “Accept analytics”, we load PostHog (hosted in the EU at eu.i.posthog.com) to understand how the product is used and to fix issues. PostHog is not loaded if you choose “Essential only”.

With your consent, we may collect: pages and screens viewed; clicks and navigation paths; session duration; device type, browser, and approximate location (derived from IP); client-side errors and performance signals; session replay (with form inputs masked by default); heatmaps of clicks and scrolls; and product milestone events (for example completing discovery or exporting a document).

When you are signed in and have consented, we may associate analytics with your account identifier to understand product usage—not to sell your data.

Legal basis (GDPR): your consent (Article 6(1)(a)). You may withdraw consent at any time via “Cookie settings” in the footer or by clearing site data for this domain.

Payment cookies (Paddle)

When you purchase a project or token pack, checkout is processed by Paddle.com Market Limited and its affiliates (“Paddle”), our Merchant of Record. Paddle may set cookies on its checkout domain to process payment, prevent fraud, calculate tax, and meet legal obligations. Paddle’s use of cookies is governed by Paddle’s policies—we do not control cookies on Paddle’s domain.

What is not collected via cookies

AI generation and chat processing run on our servers and are not performed through browser cookies. Your project content is processed under our Privacy Policy and is kept private to your account as described there.

We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Retention

Your banner choice persists in your browser until you change it or clear site data. PostHog data is retained according to our project settings in PostHog (limited periods appropriate for product analytics and debugging).

Your rights

Where GDPR or similar law applies, you may have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to processing, data portability, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Contact yca@startupdrafter.com for requests relating to data we control.

You can also manage cookies in your browser settings; blocking all cookies may affect sign-in and core functionality.

Updates

We may update this Cookie Policy when our practices or legal requirements change. The “Last updated” date shows when it was last revised.
